Geminid meteor shower

Get ready for the maximum of Geminids meteor shower the upcoming nights - about 100 meteors per hour !

I made this drawing as a visualisation of the radiant (the point in the sky, from where the meteors are apparently flying) and you can recognize some popular constellations too. The brightest star near horizon is Sirius.


This is what you would (probably - just my idea) see from an equator.

To see the real perspective for northern America, Europe and Asia turn your head to the left please.
To see the real perspective for southern America, Africa and Australia turn your head to the right please.
